Iris Nereida Cruz Perez

Iris Nereida Cruz Perez, 65, of Catasauqua, Pennsylvania, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, she was the beloved daughter of Emilda Perez.

Iris was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and partner whose love for her family was the center of her life. She leaves behind her cherished children: Yomaira Cruz, Angel Cruz, Radames Cruz, and Jonathan Cruz, who will forever carry her strength and love in their hearts.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Kiana Hernandez, Aliyah Thaureax, Feliz Cruz, Migdalia Rosario, Elias Cruz, Eliana Cruz, Yandel Cruz, Nico Cruz, and Angel Benavides. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Messiah Hernandez, Anayellis Edwards, Legacy Edwards, and Ehani Edwards, who brought her immense joy.

Iris was preceded in death by her brothers, Rafael Cruz and Jorge Cruz. She is survived by her loving sister, Luz C. Perez, and by her devoted partner of many years, Felix Thaureax, who stood by her side with love and companionship.

She was a woman of strong Christian faith, and she was a dedicated member of the House of Strong Power Ministry, where she found great joy and spiritual strength.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Services for Iris will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Morning visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., also at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, New Jersey.

Iris Nereida Cruz Perez, de 65 años, residente de Catasauqua, Pennsylvania, falleció rodeada del amor de su familia. Nació en Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, y fue la querida hija de Emilda Perez.

Iris fue una madre, abuela, bisabuela, hermana y compañera dedicada, cuyo amor por su familia fue el centro de su vida. Deja en vida a sus queridos hijos: Yomaira Cruz, Angel Cruz, Radames Cruz y Jonathan Cruz, quienes llevarán por siempre su fortaleza y su amor en sus corazones.

Fue una abuela orgullosa y amorosa de Kiana Hernandez, Aliyah Thaureax, Feliz Cruz, Migdalia Rosario, Elias Cruz, Eliana Cruz, Yandel Cruz, Nico Cruz y Angel Benavides. Su legado continúa a través de sus bisnietos: Messiah Hernandez, Anayellis Edwards, Legacy Edwards y Ehani Edwards, quienes le brindaron una inmensa alegría.

Iris fue precedida en la muerte por sus hermanos, Rafael Cruz y Jorge Cruz. Le sobrevive su querida hermana, Luz C. Pérez, así como su compañero de muchos años, Félix Thaureax, quien estuvo a su lado con amor y compañerismo.

Ella fue una mujer de profunda fe cristiana y miembro dedicada de la Casa del Ministerio Poder Fuerte, donde encontró gran gozo y fortaleza espiritual.

Su presencia será profundamente extrañada, pero su espíritu vivirá por siempre en los corazones de todos los que la conocieron y la amaron.

Los servicios para Iris se llevarán a cabo el martes 3 de marzo de 2026, de 2:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m., en la funeraria.

La visita de la mañana será el miércoles 4 de marzo de 2026, de 9:00 a.m. a 10:00 a.m., también en la funeraria.

El sepelio se llevará a cabo a continuación en el Cementerio Fairview en Fairview, Nueva Jersey.
