Silvina Altagracia Guttierrez de Garcia, 87, passed away peacefully at her home in Totowa, New Jersey, on February 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Silvina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was defined by her deep love for her family. She touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and strength, leaving behind a legacy of faith, resilience, and compassion.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Luis Garcia; her children, Elisa Narpier, Lina Garcia, Zulema Garcia, Ana Ospina, Luis A. Garcia, Ana Celia Soto, Henry Garcia, Anthony Garcia, and Gelman Garcia; and her cherished grandchildren, David, Carlos, Mabel, Pamela, Kevin, John Henry, Kenny, Michelle, Michael, Brian, Natalie, Anthony, Jenny, Alexandra, Julio Cesar, and Jorgie. She was predeceased by her grandson, Domingo. She also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Her interment will take place in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Silvina will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Silvina fue una esposa, madre, abuela y bisabuela dedicada, cuya vida estuvo marcada por su profundo amor por su familia. Tocó la vida de muchos con su calidez, bondad y fortaleza, dejando un legado de fe, resiliencia y compasión.

Familiares y amigos están invitados a su velación el domingo 1 de marzo de 2026, de 2:00 p.m. a 6:00 p.m. en la funeraria.

Su sepelio se llevará a cabo en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana.
